Made for More was founded in 2025 by two passionate individuals behind MessyPlay NI—a company known for supplying outdoor learning environments and sensory spaces to schools across Northern Ireland.
While working hands-on with educators, therapists, and pupils during the design and delivery of those projects, we encountered a growing number of non-verbal children—bright, capable individuals who struggled to communicate their needs and feelings. We quickly realised that we weren’t alone in this. Even experienced professionals were struggling to find simple, affordable, and durable tools to help these children connect with the world around them.
We listened. We learned. And we acted.
A Voice, an Emotion, an Expression
Made for More was born to give individuals with communication difficulties—not just children, but people of all ages—a voice. A way to express themselves, to feel understood, and to feel seen.
From keyrings and cards to visual aids and emotion tools, we’ve worked closely with experts, practitioners, and caregivers to design tools that are:

- Toxin-free, safe, and biodegradable
- Affordable, durable, and beautifully made
- Built with real-life use in schools, care homes, and emergency settings in mind
